Wood frame is built on back side of door to receive mattress or box spring. Adjustable-tension counterbalanced spring units control decent and assist ascent. Fully mounted inside cabinet, not bolted to the floor! Modified to a horizontal-opening mechanism where taller cabinets are not desired. The control cylinders fasten to the sides of the platform and fit into brackets mounted inside the sidewalls of the cabinet.

Fully mounted inside cabinet, not bolted to the floor! Pivoting footrest folds inside cabinet when closed. Cabinet fastens to the wall with a small "L." bracket at top. Cabinet depth only 14"!
